Volunteering in Guildford

You can support our team in Guildford by becoming a volunteer.

All we ask is that you can give up at least four hours a week for a minimum of a three month period.

Driver

Be at the forefront of stopping good food from going to waste, along with a driving assistant, you’ll be the friendly face of FareShare Sussex & Surrey. Interacting with the charities and community groups, making sure they get the food they need. Shifts are typically in the morning and last an average of 5 hours.

Drivers must be aged 25 or over with a full licence and willing to learn to drive one of our vans.

Warehouse Assistant

Come and help out in our Warehouse! This incredible team is the powerhouse of FareShare Sussex & Surrey, ensuring the wonderful produce we receive is picked and packed ready for delivery. There are often opportunities to head out on a van as a driving assistant.

Volunteer Buddy

Join us as a Volunteer Buddy to help us continue to build an inclusive and supportive environment in our warehouse. You’ll work one-on-one with volunteers who need extra assistance, helping them achieve their goals and build confidence.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, with regular check-ins from the Volunteer and Warehouse team. Ideal candidates are patient, friendly, and communicative, with a background in support roles or a willingness to learn and upskill.
