With the eye-watering cost of diesel continuing to rise, what does that mean for our surplus food deliveries?![]()

We caught up with our Head of Operations to talk about the impact on FareShare Sussex & Surrey. The increase in fuel prices is adding around £7,000 a year to our running costs, but one thing isn’t changing: our vans will keep going out, and our incredible volunteers will keep getting good-to-eat surplus food to community groups across Sussex and Surrey.![]()

If you’d like to support us, we need a new electric vehicle. It would be powered through solar energy, helping to reduce our reliance on diesel while keeping food moving to the people who need it most.
